American pop culture artist Robert Rauschenberg directs the placement of his artwork next to one of his "Beamer" collages at an art gallery in Naples, Florida in this January, 2002, file photo. The 82-year-old died Monday, May 12, 2008, of heart failure according to Jennifer Joy, his representative at PaceWildenstein gallery in New York.
